The man was operating a forklift at his place of employment on Monday, Aug. 14. First responders came to the scene after an emergency call informed them that a man had become trapped in a forklift. Sadly, the man died before he was able to be taken to the hospital.
The incident occurred around 3 p.m. At the time of the news story, his identity had not been released. Authorities and the California Division of Occupational Safety and Health are still investigating the details of the accident.
