For individuals who enjoy their jobs, going to work every day may not seem like a burden. The work itself involved digging a trench that would allow for a new sewer line to be put in place for a developing subdivision. One man was working as part of the construction crew when he was hit by a shifting piece of equipment.
The man was either in the trench when the accident took place or fell in after being hit as emergency crews had to enter the 27-foot-deep trench in order to get him out. Though the man did suffer injuries in the incident, those injuries were not considered life-threatening. Nonetheless, he was taken from the scene to an area hospital to receive treatment and undergo observation.

Efforts should be made in hopes of avoiding such incidents in the future, and injured workers should receive medical attention as soon as possible.
