When working in construction, even a slight mishap can have detrimental impacts. The man suffered injuries after one of the concrete sections fell from the machine. The section reportedly landed on the man’s leg and trapped him. He was successfully extricated and remained alert throughout the ordeal. It was unclear what exact injuries he may have suffered, but he was taken from the scene for treatment at an area medical center.
Workplace injuries can take place quite suddenly, and though it is hoped that such incidents can be avoided, if they cannot, a non-serious accident is the next best scenario.
