According to reports, a 10-story apartment building was under construction, and while workers were on the site, a large portion of rebar collapsed. The man was pinned under the rebar, and in order to get him free, firefighters had to saw through the iron with a mechanical saw. The incident resulted in him suffering serious injuries, but it was noted that he was alert and conscious at the time of the rescue. He was transported to an area hospital by helicopter. The report also mentioned that no other workers suffered injuries as a result of the accident.
