While the drivers of the first and third vehicle were reportedly uninjured in the collision, two occupants of the second vehicle died as a result of injuries suffered in the collision. The highway was closed for approximately three hours afterward.
Reports indicate that police do not believe that drugs or alcohol were a factor in the collision.
